George Wang
George Wang is a Vice President and consulting actuary with BFL Canada Inc. As a trusted consultant and subject matter expert, he has been supporting clients for more than 20 years. His clients include large and complex corporates, independent employers, and multiemployer health and welfare trusts. With a wide range of experience and technical expertise, he supports his clients to develop benefits strategies, review and adjust plan design, conduct actuarial valuations, prepare annual renewal/funding/pricing reviews, and manage various benefits program related challenges. George graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a concurrent degree in Honors Actuarial Science and Mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, specializing in Group and Health. He is an active volunteer currently serving as a member of the Society of Actuaries exam committee and as the Chair of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries Health committee.
