Timothy K. Eicher
Tim Eicher has focused exclusively on employee benefits law since he
began his career, and advises unions, multiemployer, and nonprofit
clients on a wide range of compliance issues under ERISA, the Internal
Revenue Code, and related laws. He is actively involved with the
American Bar Association’s Employee Benefits Committee and is a
contributing author of the ABA Section of Labor and Employment
Law’s treatise, Employee Benefits Law, where he serves as union-co
chair for the chapter on multiemployer withdrawal liability. He also
serves as a continuing faculty member for the District of Columbia Bar
Association’s ERISA Basics educational program, which he helped design.
Mr. Eicher received his law degree from Georgetown University
Law Center and his undergraduate degree from Princeton University,
where he majored in Classics.
