Julie S. Selesnick
Julie Selesnick is senior counsel at Berger Montague and has been practicing law since 2001. She has over 20 years of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex dispute resolution forums. Julie has a wide variety of litigation, arbitration, and mediation practice, including first-chair jury and bench-trial experience. She has represented some of the largest companies in the U.S., and small companies, labor unions, individuals, and classes of plaintiffs. Julie’s current practice is a mix of class litigation on behalf of individuals, union funds, and employers and a legal consulting practice that advises self-funded health plans and service providers to self-funded health plans. Her practice advises on multiple topics including minimization of litigation and regulatory risk; issues arising under ERISA; fiduciary obligations; and CAA compliance, including negotiating service provider contracts and BAA agreements. Her practice also advises on drafting plan design and documents; helping health plans gain access to their own participant claims data; drafting and obtaining 408(b)(2)(B) compensation disclosures; collecting and reporting prescription drug data; and ensuring and conducting MHPAEA Comparative Analysis reports on non-quantitative treatment limitations.
