Craig Schmidt Pharm.D.

Craig Schmidt serves as a medical accounts associate director for Novo Nordisk in Queens, New York. Novo Nordisk is a global health care company with 100 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes and obesity care. Craig is responsible for providing scientific support to large employer groups, coalitions, professional organizations, and benefits consultants to advance the medical management of obesity and other rare diseases. Previously, he had been in the community pharmacy and managed care settings for 13 years and held various roles and leadership positions. Craig was the pharmacy director of a Regional Health Plan that served over a million Medicaid, Medicare, and commercially insured patients within the New York Metro area. He earned his doctor of pharmacy degree from St. John’s University.
