Peter R. Hardcastle FSA, EA, MAAA, CFA

Peter Hardcastle has more than four decades of experience advising

public, Taft-Hartley and single-employer plans on actuarial and investment

issues. His experience includes advising plans on compliance

and regulatory filings, preparing accounting statements and designing

computer programs to help plan administrators calculate benefits. He

was a member of the American Academy of Actuaries Multiemployer

Pension Subcommittee and helped the Academy present comments to

lawmakers, the U.S. Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service and the

Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. He co-founded Cheiron in

2002. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), an Enrolled Actuary

(EA) under ERISA and a Member of the American Academy of

Actuaries (MAAA®). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst

(CFA®) designation and has passed the NASD series 63 and 65 exams.
