Benjamin Patzik
Benjamin Patzik is a vice president in Segal’s Global Portfolio Solutions Group in Chicago. He serves as head of discretionary investment services, responsible for leading the investment activities for the firm’s discretionary services platform. Patzik also spearheads proprietary product development solutions as well as designs and structures investment optimization strategies and road maps for existing and prospective client portfolios. He also liaises with consulting leadership on behalf of Alpha Research. Patzik is a voting member of the investment committee, the office of the CIO, and Alpha Manager Review Committee. Prior to joining Segal, Patzik served as an investment analyst at GCM Grosvenor Capital Management, specializing in hedge fund manager selection across multiple strategies. Patzik received a B.S. degree in accountancy and an M.S. degree in accountancy with a concentration in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Registered Certified Public Accountant, a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute of Chicago.
