Susan Milstein Ph.D., M.A.

Dr. Susan Milstein is the founder and lead consultant for Milstein Health Consulting, as well as an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Education and Health Education at Springfield College. She is Certified in Public Health (CPH) and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) with over 20 years of teaching experience, both in classrooms and the community. Dr. Milstein earned a B.S. in Health Education from SUNY Cortland; an M.A. in Health Education from the University of Maryland, College Park; and a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University. Dr. Milstein has taught full-time faculty at Texas A&M University; CSU, Chico; and Montgomery College. She was an adjunct faculty member at The George Washington University; Widener University; Arizona State University; University of Maryland, College Park; and George Mason University. In addition to teaching, Dr. Milstein is the co-author of the sixth edition of Human Sexuality: Making Informed Decisions and the co-editor of Men’s Health: An Introduction. She is also the co-author of the second edition of Community Health. She has presented at national and international conferences on a wide variety of health and sexuality topics. Dr. Milstein is a member of the advisory board for the Men’s Health Network as well as a member of the medical review board for the Women’s Health Interactive. She recently served as the moderator for a Men’s Health Network and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute panel.
