Robert Massa CEBS, AIF®, ChFC®, CPFA®
Robert Massa is the managing director of retirement for Qualified Plan Advisors (QPA). He is a retirement professional with more than 25 years of retirement industry experience. Massa’s primary responsibilities include practice management, strategic investment direction and advice, retirement plan design consulting and compliance, employee education and development, financial wellness strategies, client relationship management and SEC compliance. His career has focused on investment management and administration of qualified retirement plans in a diverse series of roles, including investment advice, trust administration, recordkeeping, plan document drafting, compliance testing, product management, and legal and client consultation. Massa taught employee benefits at St. Thomas University for the Certified Financial Planner© program. He has been interviewed for various articles in U.S. News and World Report, The Motley Fool, Houston Business Journal, Institutional Investor, FiduciaryNews.com, TheStreet.com and CFO magazine. Massa has spoken at several regional and national conferences, including the PlanSponsor national conference and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ Annual Conference. In 2016, he was named Retirement Adviser of the Year by Employee Benefit Adviser magazine. Massa has passed the Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities exams, and he is a licensed life/ health representative, a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®). He holds a bachelor of arts degree in public administration with a minor in mathematics from the College of New Jersey. Massa holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist® (CEBS®) designation and is CEBS Compliant.
