Mary Ann T. Dunleavy, ASA, EA, MAAA

Mary Ann T. Dunleavy is a senior consulting actuary in the Silver Spring, Maryland office of Horizon Actuarial Services. She has over 30 years of experience consulting with clients on the administration, compliance, communication and funding issues of maintaining qualified retirement plans. Dunleavy’s experience includes plan design, the development of funding improvement plans and rehabilitation plans under the Pension Protection Act of 2006, withdrawal liability, mergers and spin-offs, and plan termination involving the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). She has worked with funds of all sizes in a wide variety of industries. Dunleavy is a frequent speaker at trustee and professional education conferences. She is an associate of the Society of Actuaries, an enrolled actuary under ERISA and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Dunleavy is a graduate of Iowa State University, holding a B.S. degree in mathematics.
