Marie Lloyd CCS-AC, ICADC, RP

Marie Lloyd had retired from, but has returned to, her role as the interim executive director of De Novo Treatment Centre. She joined De Novo as program manager in 2010. Prior to that, she was the executive director of addiction outreach at Muskoka Parry Sound. Through her leadership at De Novo, Marie demonstrates care and consideration for others and the community, which is given the highest regard by those involved. For her work in the field of addiction counselling, she has received a number of outstanding recognitions, including the Central Ontario Mental Health and Addiction Award (2009), Peter Armstrong Community Award of Excellence (2016), and Jeff Wilbee Award for work in Addictions and Mental Health (2017). Marie attended Ryerson College in the social work program and McMaster University for drug and alcohol studies. She is certified internationally as a drug and alcohol counsellor (ICADC) and is a registered psychotherapist (RP).
