Kengo Asai M.D., Ph.D., FRCSC

Dr. Kengo Asai is the chief of general surgery at Health Sciences North Hospital in Sudbury, Ontario and an assistant professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University. His clinical interests include general surgery and treatment of cancers of the liver, pancreas and bile duct. Dr. Asai completed his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees and general surgery training at the University of Toronto. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2012. Dr. Asai completed a fellowship in hepatopancreatic biliary surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
