Alton Wilkerson

Alton Wilkerson is the Apprentice Coordinator for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 11. He also sits as a trustee for the union’s Apprenticeship Committee, as well as a trustee on the defined benefit and defined contribution plans. Wilkerson is the President of the Local 11 chapter of the Electrical Workers Minority Caucus. He has served as the union’s 9th District RENEW Advisory Council Member representing all of the young workers in IBEW in Alaska, Washington, a portion of Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, California, and Hawaii. Wilkerson has also worked as a foreman for IBEW’s signatory electrical contractors. Prior to his duties as a foreman, in 2009, Wilkerson spent five years in IBEW’s inside wireman apprenticeship program.
